In the fourth quarter, the activity of small construction businesses continued its decline, falling by 2% year-on-year. While new construction saw a relative improvement (-3%), maintenance and improvement, as well as energy-efficient renovations, have remained in persistent difficulty for five consecutive quarters (-1,5%), confirming the stagnation of these otherwise essential markets.
