The company Bymaro, a Moroccan subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, will build an international university hospital in Rabat, which will be delivered in September 2025, for an amount of nearly 450 million euros, according to a press release published a few days ago.
Located in the heart of the Moroccan capital, the Mohammed VI international university hospital "will be made up of four six-story buildings and a twenty-five-story tower. It will bring together leading healthcare and teaching infrastructures over a total area more than 275.000 m2", it is specified.
With 553 beds and 20 operating rooms, the hospital "aims to support regional and national health policies" and "aims to become a reference for the Moroccan university hospitals of tomorrow, whether in terms of architecture , quality of care or teaching".
“The project will mobilize 3.500 workers (including subcontractors) during peak periods,” details the press release.
The Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Rabat will be the third hospital project carried out by Bymaro in the last five years, following the delivery of the Mohammed VI University Hospital in Bouskoura in 2019 and the ongoing construction of Smart Health Care City in Benguérir, recalls Bouygues Construction, a subsidiary of the Bouygues group, present in 60 countries.
