Using three sensors – pins, a pad, and a thermo-hygrometer – the Bosch EXPERT EXMM3-17 can quickly measure the moisture content of 37 wood species and 10 building materials, the ambient temperature (-20°C to +70°C), and the relative humidity. The adjustable variable threshold scale with a color display allows for quick interpretation of the results.

By pressing the humidity sensor button, the user can choose between the invasive pin sensor and the non-invasive pad sensor for taking measurements. To ensure the accuracy of the pin sensor before each use, an automatic self-test at startup verifies the calibration.

A reference mode allows for comparison of humidity levels in different locations using the buffer sensor. This sensor quickly scans larger areas, using a dry zone as a reference.

With its compact and ergonomic design, the EXMM3-17 offers a comfortable grip. Its high-contrast color LCD screen ensures better visibility of results.

Its intuitive interface features an on/off/back button, a settings button, and a central button to keep the display active. An adjustable beep, emitted after each measurement, confirms that a measurement has been taken.

With its robust and durable design, it remains reliable regardless of site conditions. Its reinforced rubber housing with an IP65 protection rating ensures good protection against water and dust, as well as high impact resistance.

Equipped with Dual Power supply, the EXMM3-17 operates with two 1,5V AA (LR06) batteries or a 3.7V 1.0Ah Lithium-Ion BA battery for extended runtime.
