The real estate complex represents ten buildings which have taken place in an area historically occupied by the administrative and production infrastructures of a company which, over time, has been included in the urban development of the city. As Paul LAIGLE, project manager and architect of the François Leclerq agency, points out, “We had several buildings that were occupied by a company surrounded by housing. The project that we have developed is a real macro island which is one of the rare areas in the heart of cities, unsuspected and not very visible from the outside”.
A landscaped macro island protected from nuisances
Located both in an urban center and in a vast heart of an island, the “Ilot Boisseau” program benefits from an ideal geolocation. It offers all the advantages of a location allowing almost immediate access to line 14 of the Paris metro, while benefiting from the tranquility of a district isolated from the tumults of the inner cities. As the architect points out, “We are both in an urban center and in a vast heart of a block. Our intervention consisted in making it denser and making it accessible and landscaped to create islands of freshness, to the delight of the inhabitants. Its privileged position and away from all nuisances did not require very specific treatment in terms of thermal and/or acoustic insulation”. The housing buildings were thus built with the priority objective of a more digestible density than a traditional urban center, opening the spaces onto pedestrian and landscaped paths that are calm and pleasant to live in.
Create its own identity while integrating into the surrounding architecture
To safeguard the spirit of the Haussmann buildings located on the edge of the real estate program, the project teams favored the overall complicity of the materials. It is expressed in particular by the use of stone, making it possible to combine the objective of density of the block with that of creating a "new district" with singular spaces, homogeneous and inscribed in modernity. As Paul LAIGLE develops "The whole challenge of the program was to create writings where the letters of nobility are expressed in the social mix, like the programs which combine social housing, social accession or private as well as complementary activities such as the senior residence which has been set up in one of the ten buildings”.
More than 750 INDUSLINE 68 aluminum windows and patio doors in response to the demand for quality and durability of construction elements
For the François LECLERCQ architectural firm, the central position of the project required treatment as qualitative as the Parisian buildings located nearby. According to the architect Paul LAIGLE “In this type of project, located in the urban center of Clichy and next to the metro, we are confronted with a level of service similar to that required in the city of Paris. It is difficult to conceive of developing programs without prioritizing quality and sustainable constructive elements”. In order to meet the requirements in terms of light in the living spaces of the apartments and the durability of the construction, aluminum has imposed itself in the treatment of the openings. The five buildings designed and piloted by the François LECLERCQ architectural firm elegantly feature more than 750 INDUSLINE 68 French-style windows and French doors in dual color (RAL 9016/7022) from the REYNAERS Aluminum range.
INDUSLINE 68, to gain between 25 and 30% productivity
Specially designed to solve needs in terms of industrial-type manufacturing, INDUSLINE 68 has made it possible to meet the diversity of desired impact openings, the lead time, as well as the requirement in terms of durability and aesthetics sought. . As Mr. Bourdeau, director of the AMDB company, points out, "INDUSLINE 68 is the product that we have been waiting for for a long time on the market, and which allows us to respond to requests with as much relevance as the large carpentry manufacturers can do. . Without this range, we would not have been able to position ourselves on the "Ilot Boisseau" project in the face of the wood/aluminium mix that was initially planned. However, it must be taken into account that this type of carpentry induces another way of producing. INDUSLINE 68 supposes the consistency of the production tool with the product, mainly based on the automation of the workshop. I estimate that on the “Ilot Boisseau” project, the product-equipment couple enabled us to gain between 25 and 30% in productivity”. Designed to optimize manufacturing times as much as possible, INDUSLINE 68 expresses all its relevance during the assembly and mounting phases, in particular with the 16mm groove or the frames with integrated taps. “INDUSLINE 68 is a product that has real and good advantages. Launched on the market two years ago, it benefits from the latest technological advances, positioning it among the best windows on the market in terms of manufacturing time, energy and economic performance” concludes the business manager.
