Betafence strengthens its governance and accelerates its development in Europe

To embody and lead this new strategy, the company entrusts its management to Benjamin Neumann, appointed President and CEO, and to Vlad Cherevko, who takes the helm of European activities as Vice President and CEO Europe.

A strategy refocused on high-potential markets

For over 145 years, Betafence has been designing perimeter protection solutions to secure homes, commercial sites, industrial facilities, and strategic infrastructure. Today, the company is embarking on a new phase of development structured around two complementary pillars:

• Accelerate its development on critical infrastructures and high-security environments

Betafence continues to develop its solutions for critical infrastructure and high-security environments, a rapidly growing segment worldwide, driven by new security challenges. These solutions enable the securing of sensitive sites such as prisons, data centers, airports, strategic industrial facilities, and military zones, where perimeter protection requirements are particularly stringent.

• Strengthening its presence in European markets

In parallel, Betafence is strengthening its presence in its established European markets. The company sees significant potential there to accelerate its growth by leveraging its brand recognition, distribution network, and industrial expertise. This strategy is accompanied by a strengthening of the group's innovation capabilities. Betafence plans, in particular, to intensify its investments in research and development to adapt technologies initially developed for high-security environments and critical infrastructure to European markets. The goal is to offer more innovative, higher-performing perimeter protection solutions tailored to new security challenges.

A new leadership team to drive the transformation

To support this new phase of development, Betafence relies on strengthened governance.

Benjamin Neumann has been appointed Chairman and CEO of the PRÆSIDIAD Group, which owns the Betafence brand. A graduate of HEC Paris and the INSEAD Executive Program, he has extensive international experience in the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. He notably led Chloride and Gutor, two international companies specializing in power systems for critical infrastructure. He also held several senior management positions at Schneider Electric, including Regional President of the Power Systems division for Asia-Pacific.

At the helm of PRÆSIDIAD, Benjamin Neumann aims to accelerate the group's transformation and strengthen the international development of its brands, including Betafence and Hesco.

Vlad Cherevko has joined Betafence as Executive Vice President for Europe. A graduate of HEC Paris and the INSEAD Executive Program, he has over twenty years of experience in developing and transforming international industrial businesses within groups such as Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Whirlpool, and Haier. He has notably led strategic transformation, innovation, and digitalization programs, as well as growth and acquisition projects across several European markets.

As head of Betafence's European operations, he is leading the implementation of the new strategy on the continent. His responsibilities include accelerating the company's growth, strengthening customer relationships, and revitalizing product and service innovation to consolidate Betafence's presence in European markets.

This is already resulting in several concrete initiatives, including the preparation for the launch of a new innovation for residential and commercial markets, as well as the acceleration of the deployment of LPCB (Loss Prevention Certificate Board) certified high-security systems to meet the growing needs of international customers, particularly in the data center and critical infrastructure sectors.
