Promoting the excellence of OKNOPLAST Premium Partner installers
OKNOPLAST has developed comprehensive and fully personalized support for its customers with its "Premium Partners" program, which now has more than 200 members. To guide them towards excellence and success, OKNOPLAST provides them with high-quality products, exclusive tools, optimized signage and showrooms, customized sales and technical support, specific digital tools, customer financing solutions, and other benefits.
OKNOPLAST is now strengthening this dynamic of supporting its customers by launching, for the first time in France, the OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge in partnership with the CSTB (Scientific and Technical Center for Construction). Exclusively reserved for OKNOPLAST Premium distributors, this unique competition in the joinery sector showcases the skills and expertise of installation teams through technical challenges and exceptional rewards.
The OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge unites the entire network around excellence
The OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge recognizes the technical expertise and know-how of its Premium Partner network. It also enhances the visibility and recognition of the installer profession and allows OKNOPLAST to build loyalty and strengthen relationships with its Premium Partners.
With the winner receiving a trip to Europe for two, gift vouchers for the finalists and other attractive benefits, this unique competition is a unique opportunity for Premium Partners to showcase the expertise of their installation teams.
The OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge, in partnership with CSTB, took place in two stages: regional events in France, followed by the grand national final in Poland.
Phase 1 – Regional qualifying events
The OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge qualifications took place at the end of 2024 at three CSTB training sites (Grenoble, Marne-la-Vallée, and Toulouse), during half-day sessions. To qualify for the national final, candidates had to demonstrate their expertise through a technical quiz and a practical workshop on identifying installation defects.
Only the best installer from each region qualified for the grand finale at OKNOPLAST headquarters in Krakow, Poland. The other candidates on the podium received gift vouchers worth between €200 and €400, depending on their placement.
Phase 2 – National Final in Krakow, Poland
In January 2025, the finalists traveled to OKNOPLAST's headquarters in Krakow for the final, where their techniques were put to the test in real-life installation conditions. More than 60 criteria were detailed to determine the candidates' standing.
The winner, Anthony from WERSEN HABITAT, won a trip to Europe for two people. The other two finalists, Clément from MVF GRARD, who came in second, and Cyril from CORTES FERMETURES, who came in third, received gift certificates as a reward for their outstanding performances in the competition.
The OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge is an opportunity for Premium Partners to increase their attractiveness, demonstrate their technical expertise while retaining and motivating their teams.
For Gilles Carré-Roué, President of OKNOPLAST France: "With more than 50 participants in the regional stages and a grand finale in Krakow, the first edition of the OKNOPLAST Best Installer Challenge was a resounding success. Organized in partnership with the CSTB, this event is a world first for our network and a first in France in the joinery sector. We wanted to promote a key but often overlooked profession, that of installer, by highlighting their technical expertise and their crucial role with the end customer. The installer profession is in high demand today, and the skills necessary for quality installation are essential. This competition, beyond its competitive aspect, is an innovative way to promote their know-how, strengthen their visibility, and highlight their impact on customer satisfaction. We are already delighted to announce a second edition for next winter, which will expand to new training platforms thanks to the CSTB and will welcome even more participants."
For Sophie Cuenot, Head of the Expertise and Training Unit, Bays and Glazing Department of the CSTB: "The Best Installer Challenge, organized in partnership with OKNOPLAST, is an innovative initiative that promotes a central but often underestimated profession: that of window installer. By putting participants in a real installation situation, we were able to evaluate their technical expertise through demanding criteria, such as compliance with best practice and the implementation steps defined by the DTU. Wedging, fixing, caulking, and window adjustment… more than 60 criteria were detailed to decide between the candidates. Beyond the competition, this event highlights the essential role of installers and the importance of their skills in the quality of installations and customer satisfaction. Their know-how, acquired through experience and training, is a guarantee of sustainability for each project. This partnership with OKNOPLAST illustrates a shared ambition: to promote excellence and strengthen the recognition of a key profession for the window sector."
