Bertrand Delcambre re-elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qualitel Association

Since 1974, QUALITEL, a non-profit association, has worked independently to improve the quality of new and existing housing. It relies on a unique governance structure in France, bringing together all stakeholders in the sector—consumers, professionals, and institutions—within its Board of Directors.

This collegial model guarantees the relevance and cross-cutting nature of its actions, always consistent with the challenges of housing quality and serving the general interest.

Bertrand Delcambre has been the President since 2015. He was recently reappointed to his position at the Board of Directors meeting on October 14th.

A President committed to quality housing

General Engineer of Bridges, Waters and Forests, Bertrand Delcambre spent most of his professional career at the Scientific and Technical Center for Building (CSTB), which he chaired from 2008 to 2015.

He is convinced that the housing sector encompasses a large majority of the technical and societal challenges facing the building industry: health, comfort, economic performance, environment, sustainability... All these converge around a common denominator: comprehensive, multi-criteria quality serving the public interest. This is a vision he shares with the QUALITEL Association, of which he became President in 2015.

Treasurer: Philippe Rozier

Managing Director of the Construction Quality Agency (AQC), an association aiming to improve the quality of construction through four missions: observing defects, securing innovation, consolidating good practices and supporting energy renovation.

QUALITEL, or improving housing quality, with and for everyone

Since 1974, the QUALITEL Association has maintained its objective: to improve the quality of new and existing housing for comfortable, healthy, safe and sustainable living.

To achieve this, it carries out four complementary missions: informing the general public, certifying the quality and performance of housing through the NF Habitat – NF Habitat HQE label, providing training, assessment, and expertise. It also develops tools and services for professionals and individuals (CLÉA, Alex) as well as research programs to better understand building-related issues and anticipate technological developments and the expectations of occupants.

Independent since its creation, the QUALITEL Association is a unique structure in France.
