Benoît Hennaut, new president of the Center for Studies and Research in the Concrete Industry (CERIB)

Benoît Hennaut is a nuclear engineer from the École Supérieure Industrielle de Bruxelles (1983) and a postgraduate graduate in management (MBA) from the University of Louvain (1985). He completed the Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD in 2002, then the LAFARGE Leadership Program in 2004.

An international career in the construction sector

Benoît Hennaut began his career in 1988 as Benelux Sales Director, then Sales Director for France and Marketing Director for Europe for the Italian group MERLONI Termosanitari, the world leader in Heating & Air Conditioning.

He continued his career from 2000 to 2007 as senior executive vice-president of the Marketing Division of LAFARGE Roofing, then from 2007 to 2010, as president and CEO of MONIER Asia Pacific, and from 2012 to 2013, as president of MONIER France then CEO of MONIER Western Europe from 2012 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2020, Benoît Hennaut was Vice President of ALIAXIS Western Europe and North Africa and then CEO of NICOLL International from 2013 to 2020. He has been Chairman of the Executive Board of the HERIGE Industries group since 2020.

A long-standing commitment to the construction and concrete industry

Benoît Hennaut was appointed Vice-President of the Concrete Industry Federation (FIB) on June 20, 2025. He has also been President of the Economy Commission since 2020 and a director of the FIB since 2010, President of the Inert Materials Sector Committee and a director of VALOBAT since 2024, Vice-President of the French Association of Construction Products Industries (AIMCC) since 2021, President of EuPC (European Plastics Converters) Brussels since 2022, President of the Industry College and a director of Construction21 since 2024, a director of MEDEF Pays de la Loire since 2021 and a director of Eurolaw France Cyber ​​since 2008.

Benoît Hennaut received the Best Asian Entrepreneur Award in 2010 from The
Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Association.
