Beissier presents its Cap 2030 strategy and its first CSR report

This recognition marks the acceleration of its CSR roadmap, which began in 2023 and has been accompanied since July by the publication of its first CSR report.

Let us recall that from May 2023 to February 2024, Beissier joined the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Business Climate Convention program. This collective support played a decisive role in the transformation of its CSR vision. Thanks to the structuring framework, concrete tools and discussions with other committed companies, Beissier was able to enrich its thinking, question its model and co-construct an ambitious roadmap for 2030. This is based on 4 fundamental pillars: innovating sustainably, taking care of its employees, reducing its environmental footprint and strengthening dialogue with external stakeholders. Having already obtained the AFNOR ISO 26000 Standard Engaged CSR Exemplary Level 3-star label in 2024, Beissier confirms that it has taken another step forward by publishing its first CSR Report.

With the vision of becoming and remaining the preferred coatings supplier for distribution and application professionals, Beissier, driven by collective energy, has set itself various objectives to achieve by 2030 via its Cap 2030 strategy. On the environmental side, for example, the program includes a 40% reduction in its GHGs (up to 80% by 2050), water autonomy up to 50% of its needs (75% in 2050) and ultimate zero waste. Not to mention product-by-product FDES and LCAs (life cycle analysis) for all of its offerings, whether it is its Prestonett brand (powder and paste coatings for manual application) or its Bagar paste coating brand dedicated to mechanical application. Still on the environment, it should be noted that Beissier has also imposed a more responsible packaging choice for 2030. While these represent 10% of its greenhouse gas emissions, Beissier will offer all of its plastic packaging by 2030 incorporating 50% post-consumer recycled plastic (in 2024, these plastic buckets and bags were already made of around 30% PCR). It should also be remembered that 96% of the raw materials for its paste products manufactured in France are of natural origin and 97,5% for its powder products. Aware that 99,1% of its emissions (33.980 tCO2e) fall under Scope 3, Beissier has also focused on rethinking its transport plan by working collaboratively with its service providers to increase the fleet covered by electric vehicles such as the use of BioCNG fuel, but also with the aim of sharing journeys, promoting grouped deliveries and limiting empty kilometers.
