Autodesk uses new technology to rebuild fire-ravaged areas of Los Angeles faster

A scalable plan for wildfire data recovery

With support from Autodesk, TFCF is engaging hundreds of architects, engineers, and student volunteers to create house plans tailored to neighborhoods like Altadena. These plans will meet strict climate resilience standards, including resistance to extreme heat, fires, and power outages, while preserving the area's unique architectural character.

The TFCF is also developing a standardized Revit model to ensure each design meets pre-approval and sustainability requirements from the start. Architects contributing to the catalog will use tools such as BIM Collaborate Pro, as well as tools from the Autodesk AEC collection, such as Autodesk Forma, to streamline collaboration, provide AI-powered analytics, and help deliver more resilient homes to families faster.
