Artificial intelligence at the service of building tradespeople: the FFB Artisans is training its members in the tools of tomorrow

To help small businesses navigate this technological shift, the FFB Artisans (French Federation of Building Tradespeople) is launching a unique training program: AI at the Service of Building Tradespeople. Designed specifically for small construction companies, these sessions aim to make AI accessible, useful, and practical. Participants learn to automate certain administrative tasks, write their technical documents more quickly, refine their quotes, and better showcase their work online.

“Before, certain tasks took me a lot of time: technical research, reports, quotes… Thanks to the training, I’ve become more efficient and precise,” says Eslem Jemoui, head of JV RENOV, a carpentry company in Romainville, and a member of the Young Leaders Group of the FFB Artisans (French Federation of Building Trades). Like many tradespeople, he sees this as a crucial turning point: “I plan to train my employees and, eventually, recruit someone specializing in AI. The companies that jump on this bandwagon will be the ones that remain competitive tomorrow,” adds the tradesman.

Because beyond mere technological curiosity, AI is emerging as a new tool for performance and competitiveness. Capable of analyzing data, generating marketing materials, or optimizing construction site management, it could become as indispensable as the smartphone was years ago.

For the FFB Artisans, supporting this evolution is a priority. "We want to give every craftsman the means to master these tools, rather than being subjected to the digital revolution," the Federation emphasizes.

"Today, AI is interesting. Tomorrow, it will become indispensable," concludes the trained craftsman.
