Thomas Dropsit, 39, a graduate of a master's degree from CentraleSupéléc, has been appointed President of Hilti France and the Western Europe Region. He succeeds Guillaume Aberlenc, who decided to step down at the age of 59, after 15 years at the head of the company.
Under his leadership, Hilti France has recorded some of the highest growth rates in Europe and has repeatedly obtained Great Place To Work certification, demonstrating its commitment to creating value while ensuring the well-being of employees. The company has successfully weathered the latest crises and has constantly adapted to the changing construction market, with a first-class customer experience as its guiding principle each time.
With nine years of experience within the Hilti group in key positions, Thomas Dropsit notably held the positions of General Manager France East in 2019 and Director of the Gulf region in Dubai since 2021. Thomas Dropsit was previously an auditor at Mazars, an engineer at ExxonMobil and a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company.
Thomas Dropsit will be able to use his experience and strategic vision to serve Hilti customers and teams and will engage the company in the launch of its new Lead 2030 strategy.
