Alkern concrete drainage slabs: the only ones on the market to be covered by FDES

After having recently expanded its range, as no collective FDES existed for these products, Alkern is establishing itself in this 2025/2026 academic year as a pioneer as the first French manufacturer to obtain verified individual FDES (Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets) for its concrete drainage slabs: Betogreen'C, Betogreen'O, Quadro, Hydrodalle simple and Hydrodalle double.

By taking this new step in favor of more responsible exterior developments, Alkern is thus distinguishing its offers to decision-makers and public clients looking for solutions combining technical performance and environmental transparency.

Obtaining these individual FDES verified and available on the INIES database ensures that they can prescribe responses with controlled environmental impact, for the implementation of soil de-impermeability projects, sustainable rainwater management or even the fight against urban heat islands.

Remember that Betogreen'O and Quadro (11,6 kg eq CO₂/m²), are intended for the creation of stable and walkable green spaces. Betogreen'C, for its part, is perfect for parking lots or driveable areas that you want to plant. Finally, the Hydrodalle (15,8 kg eq CO₂/m²) allows you to landscape traffic areas and is compatible with all types of vehicles.

Finally, let us mention that Alkern offers, within its O' range, a diversified range of draining paving stones such as Hydrojoint, Aquafil, or even Pavé Coquillage, also covered by FDES (collective FDES from CERIB).

Note that, always with a view to meeting a need for knowledge on a finished product, the calculations and the production of the FDES for Alkern products were carried out on the one hand without filling*, thus allowing its customers a calculation of their greenhouse gas balance sheet precise and validated by a third party authorized by the INIES program, across the entire value chain. On the other hand, by measuring more than 15 environmental indicators with filling included*, by gravel or by vegetated earth-sand mixture, these new FDES make it possible to know the carbon impact of the coatings produced.
