Alkern celebrates a new NF 025A certified site – Concrete blocks with the "Enhanced monitoring of production equipment" option

A new Alkern certified site

On May 27, 2026, the Alkern site in Roques-sur-Garonne (31) was recognized for its teams' commitment to quality, guaranteeing its customers reliable, consistent products that meet the highest quality standards. This recognition goes beyond the quality of the final product; it is based on rigorous control of its entire industrial process, from production and maintenance to equipment traceability and quality control. This certification option, pursued by the Alkern site in Roques-sur-Garonne since May 2025, recognizes both the constant vigilance of its teams and the mastery of its processes and culture of continuous improvement—true guarantees of sustainable performance on construction sites.

For Alkern, this option is not simply another label. It represents, in fact, recognition of daily work characterized by precision, anticipation, and constant improvement. The updated standard published in March 2023 introduces a new option that values ​​industrial expertise through enhanced monitoring of production equipment. Specifically, this option aims to ensure greater stability in block performance by strengthening the control of critical equipment: presses, molds, vibration systems, dosing devices, etc.

It relies in particular on thorough traceability of maintenance operations, more frequent and documented checks, a systematic analysis of potential deviations, and enhanced verification during NF audits. Furthermore, this enhanced monitoring perfectly meets growing market expectations. Indeed, while the market logically demands increased reliability of block characteristics, coupled with reduced variability between batches and sites, the certification option aims to improve the durability of structures, while also highlighting the highest-performing industrial sites, in full compliance with environmental requirements and verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
