Alexandre Falck re-elected for 3 years as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ecomaison

This re-election comes as Ecomaison is evolving its governance to strengthen the representation of its sectors and adapt its organization to the challenges of developing the circular economy.

Governance adapted to the challenges of the EPR sectors

At its Annual General Meeting on June 25, 2026, Ecomaison restructured its governance to strengthen the representation of each of its product categories (Furniture, Building Materials, DIY & Garden, Games & Toys) in decision-making. This evolution is reflected in particular by a smaller Board of Directors (13 directors (and 2 independent directors, compared to 20 previously)) and by sector committees with enhanced responsibilities in their respective areas.

This evolution of governance is also intended to encourage the involvement of new producers in the eco-organization's bodies and to strengthen the representation of all actors from different sectors.

Alexandre Falck reappointed for a new three-year term

Since 2023, Alexandre Falck has been supporting the growth of Ecomaison. Despite an environment marked by numerous economic, regulatory and sectoral shocks, the eco-organization has kept its operational commitments, strengthened its territorial network, developed new service offerings and taken structuring steps across all 4 of its sectors.

For this new term, Alexandre Falck intends to continue the projects already underway to guarantee the stability and clarity of Ecomaison's actions during this pivotal period for the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) sectors. In an economic environment marked by a slowdown in the real estate market and uncertainties weighing on certain sectors, the coming years will be devoted in particular to consolidating the economic model of these sectors, supporting regulatory changes, and implementing the new governance structure.

He also intends to pursue actions undertaken to ensure a fair contribution from all producers to the financing of EPR schemes, particularly with the massive development of small parcel flows by major international platforms.
