Alain Plantier elected president of the CERC Network GIE: A commitment to territorial knowledge and support for public decision-making

Currently president of UNICEM and UNPG, Alain Plantier succeeds Jean-Christophe Repon, president of CAPEB, and intends to continue the development of a network recognized for the quality of its analyses and its role in supporting construction stakeholders and public decision-makers.

Created at the initiative of public authorities and professionals, the CERCs constitute a unique observatory of the construction sector's activity in the territories. Through their work, they produce economic data, prospective studies, and territorial analyses essential for anticipating market developments, supporting public policies, measuring housing, infrastructure, and skills needs, and monitoring the sector's environmental transitions.

In a context marked by the challenges of sovereignty, decarbonization, building renovation, adaptation to climate change and land-use planning, the CERC network provides objective and shared insights, serving public decision-making based on reliable data.
