Building on its success in the BtoB market and driven by the enthusiasm generated by the first pre-orders for its Solar Boost© panel (previewed by the Team for the Planet community), Air Booster is beginning the industrialization phase of its aerothermal solution.
On October 16, the company welcomed more than 200 guests—journalists, institutional representatives, partners, investors, and customers—to Technowest (33) for the official launch of Solar Boost©. This was an opportunity for Air Booster spokespersons to retrace their growth journey and share their international ambitions. Participants also got a sneak preview of a limited edition Solar Boost© panel, created in collaboration with contemporary artist A-MO: an original work at the intersection of art and energy innovation.
Air Booster propels Solar Boost© into its industrial phase
Thanks to innovative, patented technology, manufactured in France, Air Booster transforms building facades into true players in the energy transition. Its solution helps achieve up to 80% reduction in heating bills and carbon footprint, and remains the shortest return on investment on the market. After winning over B2B players (Safran, Renault Trucks, Suez, UIMM, RATP, etc.) and testing the appetite of the B2C market (more than 500 pre-orders), the company is now entering its industrialization phase.
This strategic and symbolic step confirms the transition from a promising innovation to a solution ready for large-scale deployment. Since its inception, the project has relied on a long-standing partnership with the industrial company DAL'ALU, a key player whose expertise in design and industrialization has helped transform the idea into a successful, industrially scalable product. With 500 panels already in production (for delivery expected by the end of 2025), Air Booster demonstrates its ability to address climate challenges with a concrete and competitive product.
To accompany this launch, the company is unveiling the Solar Box, a true control center that manages and optimizes the entire system. Installed indoors, the Solar Box ensures the diffusion of hot and cool air and optimizes overall operation in real time: fan regulation, solar energy storage for nighttime cooling, and an intuitive control interface accessible from a mobile application. This unprecedented technological innovation redefines the standards for managing and distributing solar energy. Its eco-designed design was entrusted to the designers at Félix & Associés (33), while the development of the mobile application was carried out by the digital agency Feelity (33).
For Christophe Fourcaud - Founder of Air Booster: “Entering the industrial phase marks a major milestone for Solar Boost©. This deployment embodies our desire to actively contribute to the fight against global warming, with a solution that uses no watts and combines efficiency, utility, and aesthetics. We are convinced that the energy transition must remain simple to use, measurable in its results, and sustainable in its design. This is why we have mobilized the best expertise in Nouvelle-Aquitaine to design an innovative management system that lives up to our ambitions.”
Controlled growth
Air Booster has chosen a progressive and controlled distribution strategy, designed to ensure optimal deployment of Solar Boost©. By initially relying on a network of pilot stores and the launch of its e-shop, the company is favoring a reasoned ramp-up that allows it to reach its audience without overproducing, while guaranteeing the quality and availability of its offer. This approach, supported by solid partnerships with leading brands such as Castorama, Leroy Merlin and Saint-Gobain, constitutes a solid foundation before the international expansion already underway in Brazil and Eastern Europe.
This momentum also generates an internal structuring dynamic involving the creation of jobs within the company but also among its industrial partners. Air Booster has grown from 3 employees at the start of 2024 to 18 at the end of 2025 and plans to recruit around ten additional people by the end of 2026.
For Aurélien Rey - Managing Director of Air Booster: "By structuring a progressive and targeted distribution, we are creating the conditions for sustainable growth that benefits our employees, our partners and, more broadly, the entire sector. The potential of our solution is enormous; our turnover is expected to increase tenfold by the end of 2025, reaching €700.000, with strong growth prospects over the coming years."
A major event at Technowest
Incubated for five years at Bordeaux Technowest, Air Booster naturally chose this emblematic location of innovation and expertise in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region to officially launch Solar Boost©. On October 16, the accelerator hosted a launch event attended by more than 200 participants—institutional representatives, partners, investors, journalists, and customers—to reflect on the company's journey and highlight the dynamism of the regional ecosystem.
At the heart of the evening, the company unveiled a preview of a limited edition Solar Boost© panel designed in collaboration with contemporary artist A-MO. For this collection, he drew inspiration from the squirrel symbol—a nod to the economy—to illustrate Solar Boost©'s mission. This unique creation blends urban aesthetics and technology, with the aim of giving the panel an artistic dimension while reinforcing its ecological message.
For Christophe Fourcaud: "This launch evening was a moment of sharing with those who believe in our vision and are supporting us in this adventure. With this creation, we want to prove that a solar panel can be efficient, aesthetically pleasing, and convey a strong ecological message."
