ACTIsteel metal radiant panel models are installed in a high school in Saint-Malo

Integrated into the false ceiling tiles, easy to install and efficient, the metal radiant panels are the ideal solution for this project. For the architect, the aesthetic choice had to absolutely match the existing environment of the high school. The new ACTIsteel range made it possible to respond precisely to this requirement. Indeed, the chosen radiant panel offers a finish perfectly adapted to the model of the false ceiling tiles already installed in the establishment. The Élégance series offers edge finishes that adapt to the original models of false ceiling tiles favored by architects.

The metal radiant panels in the Élégance range are unique on the market and exclusively offer finishes that are 100% compatible with the original models of false ceiling tiles, type X, E, M, Z. "This new range of panels integrates perfectly with existing ceiling elements, while ensuring temperate and uniform heating in large spaces. In addition, the absence of radiators on the walls greatly facilitates the layout of the premises" says Ronan Reminiac, the architect of the Atelier des Loges in charge of the project, ''we regularly use type E panels. When we were presented with the ACTIsteel type E active panels, we didn't hesitate!''

ACTIsteel metal radiant panels can be installed discreetly, in new builds and renovations (offices, schools, hospitals, etc.), providing an additional heating function to technical ceilings. These ready-to-install active systems provide incomparable comfort and energy savings of up to 40% compared to traditional fan heaters.

The ACTIsteel range also allows the insertion of light fixtures, inspection hatches or smoke detectors into the panels to comply with the safety standards of public establishments. For the Les Rimains high school in Saint-Malo, the choice of soft lighting, through light strips along the radiant panels, was favored.

The simple and rapid installation of ACTIsteel metal radiant panels was also a major asset for this project, with the work taking place mainly during school holidays so as not to disturb the students.

Reversible panels integrated into the ceiling for heating and cooling

The ACTIsteel range has been available on the market since April 2024. The result of the partnership between two radiant surface specialists PBtub and Thermacome, subsidiaries of the Thermador group, it is particularly suitable for commercial buildings. These ready-to-install active systems for ceilings allow energy savings of up to 40% compared to traditional fan heaters.

The performance of ACTIsteel panels is optimized thanks to flattened copper tubes in which water circulates, for optimal exchange with the surface of the panel. A thermo-acoustic insulator provides insulation on the ceiling and a perforated finish is offered on all models to improve sound absorption.

Thanks to heating and cooling by water circulation in the tubes, the radiant metal panels are silent and do not cause air movement or displacement of dust or allergens, for healthy and comfortable ambient air.
