A worker died and another was seriously injured on Wednesday, November 12, when he fell from a building under construction in Lormont (Gironde), according to emergency services and the town hall, confirming information from Sud Ouest.
According to the newspaper, the two men fell from the third floor of the building late in the morning. The accident reportedly occurred while they were handling a guardrail to install a sliding glass door, the regional daily added.
According to the town hall of this municipality near Bordeaux, it was a private construction site. The ages of the victims were not immediately available.
