91% of French people favor heat pumps

This renewable, low-carbon and economical energy heating solution can meet many expectations.

The heat pump has a bright future ahead of it

The study reveals that 91% of respondents have an extremely favorable opinion regarding air-water heat pumps, 62% even consider this means of heating as the best system for heating while preserving the environment.

At a time of energy transition, the French are therefore convinced by the economic and ecological potential of this heating system. 66% of them believe that this is a solution for the future that will develop.

As a reminder, air-water heat pumps derive their performance from extremely low consumption since 75% of the energy produced comes from the outside air. This type of product makes it possible to heat a home but also to produce domestic hot water, while drastically reducing energy consumption.

For professionals in the sector, the number of heat pump installations should double by 2027 and represent 91% of the private home renovation market in 2050, including 55% for the air-water heat pump. (source AFPAC)
