Safety, sustainability and human resources at the heart of priorities

The study reveals that 76% of construction companies consider occupational safety and health as their investment priority for the next 12 months. At the same time, 49% of professionals are focusing on sustainable development, driven by ambitious regulations such as the Climate and Resilience Act. Finally, 54% of decision-makers cite human resources as a strategic area, illustrating the urgency of responding to the challenges of recruitment and talent management in a sector seeking attractiveness.

Technologies and innovation: levers for meeting structural challenges

Technological innovation is emerging as a response to the multiple pressures weighing on the sector. The study shows that 69% of companies use or plan to use mobile applications to manage their construction sites, while 61% are turning to BIM to optimize project design and planning. Artificial intelligence, although less deployed for the moment (11%), is attracting growing interest for its abilities to anticipate risks and reduce costs.

Multiple challenges, but strong resilience

Faced with major constraints – recruitment difficulties (73%), rising material costs (50%) and environmental requirements (32%) – construction companies are showing remarkable resilience. They rate their ability to adapt with an average score of 7,6/10, a sign of optimism and determination to meet the challenges ahead.
