The fourth colloquium "High-Tech and Heritage" organized by the GMH (French grouping of restoration companies of historic monuments) will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. in the hemicycle of the Palais d'Iéna 9 place d ' Jena in Paris 16th.
The GMH wishes to publicize the modernity of the practices of companies working on the built heritage. During this event, the various interventions will testify to the interdependence of the world of researchers and that of restorers of old buildings as well as the adaptability of companies that restore historic heritage.
GMH members are able to propose innovations when faced with the problem of a monument during a consultation, as well as original solutions when faced with a problem discovered during the construction site itself.
During the debates, the following subjects will be addressed:
- the restoration of the Palais d'Iéna;
- repair of old concrete;
- thermal solar panels for natural slate roofs;
- characterization of materials in calls for tenders;
- instrumentation and auscultation of buildings;
- instrumentation with the example of the rehabilitation of the Jacobins' convent;
- BIM and historical monuments.
The "High-Tech and Heritage" conference is aimed at project managers, contracting authorities, design offices, laboratories, entrepreneurs, schools, etc.
