3D Varius celebrates more than 10 years of innovation and unveils its new Line Abyss electric violin at Vivatech!
At VivaTech, 3D Varius is celebrating a decade of innovation at the intersection of music and technology. Founded in 2015 by Laurent Bernadac, a violinist and engineer, the French brand has established itself as a pioneer in the modern electric violin with a groundbreaking innovation that revolutionized the industry: the first electric violin entirely crafted using 3D printing. Transparent, ultra-lightweight, and with a sleek design, the 3D Varius quickly became a benchmark, acclaimed both in France and internationally.
Ten years later, the company, based in Béziers, has significantly expanded its range to cater to all types of musicians. At VivaTech, 3D Varius will present several flagship models, including:
- The 3D Varius, an iconic model entirely manufactured using 3D printing technology.
- The Prism, a best-seller in the United States, is an electric violin that incorporates an LED system that reacts to musical playing.
- and above all the Line Abyss, the latest innovation unveiled at NAMM 2026 in Los Angeles: a true technological feat, the Line Abyss pushes the limits of the violin by offering an extremely low sound range, capable of reaching frequencies usually reserved for the double bass, in a compact format.
Since its inception, 3D Varius has been built on four fundamental pillars: innovative design, high sonic standards thanks to high-precision piezoelectric sensors, optimal playing comfort derived from traditional craftsmanship, and extensive customization options. The brand also collaborates with international artists from diverse genres and participated in Will Smith's latest tour with the Prism.
Building on this momentum, 3D Varius continues its development with a clear ambition: to complete the electric string quartet (viola and double bass are currently in development) and to expand its expertise to new instruments in partnership with other brands.
ROBB'OCC, a range of autonomous and sovereign robotic assistants!

At VivaTech, ROB'OCC, a manufacturer of intelligent mobile robots from the Tarn region, affirms a strong conviction: industrial mobile robotics can – and must – be simple, cyber-secure and immediately profitable.
Too often, mobile robotics is synonymous with complex integrations, Wi-Fi dependency, infrastructure modifications, fragile cybersecurity, and hidden costs. ROB'OCC reverses this logic. With its range of ROC-E and ROC-E Picker robotic assistants, the company offers sovereign robotics with game-changing features: 100% Plug & Play, deployable in less than an hour, without Wi-Fi, without infrastructure modifications, without complex software integration, and entirely designed and manufactured in Brens (Tarn).
ROC-E and ROC-E Picker handle all intralogistics: moving parts, components, goods, or supplies on trolleys often falls to the employees responsible for their production. This repetitive and unproductive task leads to decreased productivity and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). To address this, ROB'OCC has designed a range of intelligent robotic service assistants capable of handling these daily tasks.
Capable of supporting payloads of up to 200 kg and intuitively operated via simple call buttons, the ROC-E and ROC-E Picker operate in close proximity to operators. They improve overall productivity, enhance on-site safety, and contribute to better working conditions. Designed to serve their users, ROB'OCC vehicles are versatile and adapted to a wide range of applications across diverse sectors such as industry, logistics, retail, and services.
With over 60 successful Proofs of Concept (POCs) (testing and validating ROC-E in real-world conditions) and a stable customer base (Mecaprec, BIC, Actia, Safran, Orange, etc.), ROB'OCC has successfully convinced its market and plans to sell over 50 robots by the end of 2026 and double that number in 2027. The company will recruit around fifteen new employees to support this growth, particularly in marketing, sales, and technical roles. Following a first funding round of €3 million completed in 2025, ROB'OCC is preparing a new €5 million Series A round this year.
Batterizy unveils a mobile, autonomous, and plug-and-play energy storage unit for the construction and events sectors.

Because generators are difficult to move and install, and are energy-intensive and very noisy, Batterizy, a brand of APF Entreprises (Association of the Paralysed of France) created in 2010 in Montpellier, specializing in the design and manufacture of custom lithium-ion batteries as well as the development of clean products, is presenting at VivaTech:
A mobile energy storage unit on wheels designed to provide electricity on temporary sites where there is none: on construction sites, at trade fairs to facilitate the assembly of stands or even for film shoots.
This mobile energy storage unit has many advantages that generator sets do not:
- It is equipped with electric wheels that allow the unit to be remotely controlled via simple joysticks. Autonomous, this system is therefore capable of exiting a truck on its own!
- The unit is "Plug & Play", ready to be used immediately, and to be powered by electricity: it moves and sets itself up, you just have to plug it in.
- The unit can be recharged by solar panels or by a generator.
- It emits no gas emissions, no exhaust, and is not noisy.
Currently being tested at three sites, this innovative power supply solution for assisted mobility is undergoing certification before its market launch. Batterizy will present it for the first time at VivaTech, with the aim of generating new pilot tests in the construction industry.

The system is entirely manufactured at the Batterizy production site, which employs around one hundred people, 75% of whom have disabilities. To achieve this, APF Entreprises has equipped itself with robotic and automated production lines, allowing employees to focus on higher value-added tasks and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
Partnering with AFNOR for certification and Bureau Veritas for design, Batterizy launches more than 10.000 sustainable batteries onto the market each year.
General Robotics unveils its patented actuator at VivaTech 2026
Founded by Cédric Loubiat, this Occitan company, based in Deyme, specializes in the design and production of innovative actuators for general robotics. After several months of research and development, General Robotics will officially unveil its functional prototype at VivaTech 2026. At the heart of General Robotics' innovation is a new-generation gearbox, for which a patent has been filed. This technology, designed to meet the growing demands of modern robotics, paves the way for more efficient, more compact actuators better suited to the industrial and collaborative applications of tomorrow.
The company is today taking several key steps that confirm the strength of its trajectory: winner of a grant obtained as part of the France 2030 Intelligent Robots and Machines of Excellence call for projects, it has also just joined the international Mass Robotics cluster since April 1, 2026. In parallel, the manufacture of the metal prototype is underway and will be finalized by May 2026, just before the event.
At VivaTech, General Robotics aims to officially unveil this prototype while forging strategic connections with investors, potential clients, industrial partners, and institutional stakeholders. The team will be present at the Occitanie booth on Friday, June 12th, and further appearances at the event may be confirmed soon. In the medium term, the company plans to deliver a pre-production run to its first customers, who are already awaiting delivery of the products.
