4 companies presented their projects on July 5, in front of a jury made up of construction and prevention professionals and in the presence of the founding partners, the CCCA-BTP, the OPPBTP, PRO BTP and the EXCELLENCE SMA Foundation. Their projects were assessed on the basis of five criteria:
- The innovative nature of their technology or service;
- Accessibility of the target market;
- The team (the skills and expertise mobilized, the ability to carry out the project);
- The reliability of the business model;
- The adequacy of the start-up with the health and prevention themes of the accelerator.
This twelfth edition enabled three start-ups that presented their innovations to convince the members of the jury. These were therefore selected to integrate the “Health - Prevention in the construction industry” accelerator:
> APPI Technology develops autonomous hands-free communication systems designed for teams working in hostile, noisy or confined environments. This equipment, compatible with any PPE, makes it possible to maintain a dialogue between the workers, to detect dangerous situations and to relay safety alerts to the operators.
“As part of our research work for the deep disposal of radioactive waste, our teams are required to work in galleries 500 m deep. The Appi solution allows us to give operators back the use of their voice and their hands, especially when they are in a stressful situation in places with high security issues. We have also greatly gained in distance since the solution allows us to establish a communication up to more than 200 m of distance despite the depth and the congestion, against only 7 m previously. " testifies François Laumann, of the National Agency for the management of radioactive waste (Andra).
> Come in VR is a creator of immersive training content in virtual reality (VR) or PC. The start-up notably offers educational solutions for training organizations or companies in the logistics, construction and health sectors. These immersive experiences promote the training of teams and enhance their skills.
“We use the Come in VR virtual training module dedicated to slinging, a very classic lifting operation in public works but causing accidents when poorly performed. Thanks to this module, we have enabled all of our learners in initial or continuing training to acquire the right gestures to be more seasoned on all the practical part concerning this operation, in a fun and understandable way for all. »Testifies Jean-François Chabaud, Director of the School for the Construction of Infrastructures and Networks.
> Recap is developing an application which enables the development, documentation and supervision of the transmission of instructions and best practices in the field of occupational health and safety, often given orally. This makes it possible to improve the safety of operators in the field, to make managers accountable and to promote the justification of compliance with the safety obligation while anticipating liability risks.
“The first feedback we have received from construction companies who have tested the solution shows a real commercial interest. Indeed, the application makes it possible to prove directly, regularly and very easily to the ordering party of a site that the commitments made in terms of securing the site and the employees, within the framework of the contract, are well kept up to date. the day. " confirms Arnaud Rimbert, lawyer in labor law.
These start-ups will benefit from the expertise and feedback from the four founding partners, CCCA-BTP, OPPBTP, PRO BTP and the EXCELLENCE SMA Foundation, to boost the performance of companies in terms of health and prevention. The partners also undertake to facilitate exchanges and the visibility of start-ups with their member companies, in particular through their websites, their social networks and their respective media, as well as at the events at which they are likely to participate.
