In June 2023, the Cité internationale de la langue française will open its doors to the public, in the heart of the castle of Villers-Cotterêts, in Aisne (Hauts-de-France). Built in the 1539th century by François I, this royal jewel is associated with the signing, in 2014, of the eponymous ordinance which imposed French in administrative and legal acts. He had, however, been without affection and abandoned since XNUMX.
