Adopte Un Bureau is carrying out one of the largest refurbished furniture development projects in France, for PariSanté Campus

Furnishing 14.000 m2 with reconditioned furniture: a major project. Challenge taken up by Adopte Un Bureau for PariSanté Campus. Less 136 T CO2eq, i.e. 80% less emissions compared to a new development and a saving of 50% on the total cost.

Adopte Un Bureau develops responsible workspaces combining reconditioned furniture and durable new furniture with a guaranteed second life. Attracted by the promise of Adopte Un Bureau, ParisSanté Campus entrusts it with carrying out one of the largest circular economy development projects in France.

PariSanté Campus brings together researchers, students, start-ups, industrialists and patients in a unique center in the world, at the service of innovation. Between 2021 and 2022, PariSanté Campus collaborated with Adopte Un Bureau for the development of its 14.000 m spaces² in 15^th district of Paris.

With 750 desks, 750 chairs, 200 cupboards and 670 fully refurbished boxes, PariSanté Campus represents one of the largest refurbished furniture projects in France. By choosing the circular economy, PariSanté campus was able to reduce its emissions by 136 T CO₂eq, which represents 80% less emissions compared to a new layout and a saving of 50% on the cost of the layout.

This type of rehabilitated furniture development project calls on the creativity of the Adopte Un Bureau team. In a logic of circular economy, it is necessary to start from the existing furniture deposits, in order to build the project according to the available furniture and the arrivals to come.

By integrating into the logic of macro zoning of the place, it is possible to combine furniture coming from different sources while keeping a great overall coherence. Visually, the project is no different from a new project.

In addition to reconditioning quality furniture, Adopte Un Bureau has the skills to add options to second-hand products, such as electrification on simple desks, the addition of partition screens or new options on an ergonomic seat.

The project having generated great satisfaction among the more than 1000 users of the center, PariSanté campus has decided to continue the collaboration with Adopte Un Bureau on a new development phase of the project, also in the circular economy.
