Hager renews its range of detectors for more efficient lighting control

To effectively respond to these challenges, Hager is launching a new complete range of ceiling detectors for individual homes, residential and tertiary buildings. These new detectors have two major advantages:

• a clever design which makes them more discreet and easier to install
• high-performance technology, LED compatible with increased sensitivity for presence and/or movement detection

In addition to contributing to better energy management, this new range provides better lighting comfort and more security for building users.

A complete range

The new Hager ceiling detectors cover all building uses, with detection references from 6 to 20 meters, also including specific references for great heights and corridors, as well as recessed or surface-mounted models.

High-performance technology

Thanks to the zero-crossing technology integrated into the power relays of this new range, switching is perfectly ensured, even for LED loads. This reliably ensures the first level of efficient lighting management and automation in both residential and tertiary buildings.

With its multi-sensor technology, the new range of Hager detectors ensures perfect detection over the entire detection zone displayed on the product.

The new Hager detectors offer increased sensitivity for refined and optimal detection. Please note: to offer optimal efficiency, from the entry-level references, the mini and 20 m versions integrate both presence and movement detection.

A discreet and clever design

Faithful to the DNA of the Hager brand, these detectors have been designed to take into account and provide a technical response to the professional constraints of installers.

Result: an innovative solution with patented Hager fixing brackets, much safer and easier to implement.

Once installed, these detectors are extremely discreet, thanks to their sleek, one-piece design without a bezel. A mini version is also available, ideal for areas requiring an invisible result.

To go further in lighting control

To go further in automation and lighting comfort, the new range of Hager detectors offer KNX and DALI 2 versions providing broader management possibilities (dimming, scenarios, colorimetry, power, white temperature, etc.)

For outdoors, the range includes solutions for detecting the passage of people and controlling lighting: LED projectors including detection and lighting, detectors alone allowing other lighting to be triggered.

For interiors, automatic switches compatible with the gallery and essensya ranges of wall-mounted lighting allow you to automate lighting at the entrance and exit of passage areas or in common areas.

Environmental and regulatory context

In France, the building sector represents 20% of greenhouse gas emissions. Lighting represents more than 10% of total annual electricity consumption. The 2020 Environmental Regulations (RE2020) in force since January 1, 2022 give priority to energy sobriety and the decarbonization of energy.

In this environmental and regulatory context, constraints particularly on lighting management are becoming a priority for residential and tertiary buildings.
