Managing Director of Amli for 13 years and of Batigere Habitats Solidaires for 4 years, Olivier Rigault is a director of Unafo, of which he was also vice-president for a year, and regional referent in the Grand Est since 2014. He is, in addition, member of the Batigere Executive Committee since 2016.
Following the vote, Olivier Rigault warmly thanked Bertrand Declemy for the actions undertaken during his term of office and indicated that he would be part of the continuity of these actions. In front of the administrators, Olivier Rigault underlined his attachment to Unafo and his joy in chairing this "Dynamic, constructive union and force of proposals in a turbulent context for the supported housing sector which requires moving forward together. with intelligence and pugnacity.
The challenges facing the supported housing sector are indeed numerous. We note among them the development of the production of social residences, the consolidation of the economic model of residences, the issues related to the energy crisis and the thermal renovation of buildings or the attractiveness of social work professions.
“Unafo was very active during the presidency of Bertrand Declemy, we collectively sowed a lot and we now hope to reap the fruits despite a difficult economic context and a political power that seems unsupportive” hope Olivier Rigault. The new President of the Union recalled on this subject that the recent announcements relating to the Housing First 2 plan were “well below the challenges that arise. The CNR-Logement has so far given birth to a mouse despite the interesting work of its participants; I think that a collective has been structured and that it is essential to make it last”.
In his new missions, the president of Unafo will be able to rely on a board renewed on the occasion of the general assembly, composed of: Sophie Grimaldi (Parma Association), vice-president, Laurent Vuidel (Hénéo), vice-president, Anne Gobin (Arpej), treasurer, Mohamed Benazzouz (Aralis Foundation), secretary, Emmanuel Ballu (Adoma), Arnaud Richard (Coallia); as well as on the Unafo team composed of 10 employees and directed by Arnaud de Broca.
