The LED Controller – RGBW Homematic IP is ideal for the simple automation of LED lighting, whether to put color accents in the lighting or to illuminate an entire room, pleasantly, flexibly and according to the mood of the moment. The DALI Gateway, on the other hand, is the perfect solution for integrating DALI lamps into the Homematic IP smart home system, allowing the control and automation of up to 32 lamps in 16 different lighting groups.

It will therefore be possible for users to configure their lighting according to their personal preferences and needs via the Homematic IP application, creating time profiles to turn the lights on or off at specific times, with a specific intensity or by connecting them motion detectors – so that the light only comes on when it is really needed.

Integration has never been easier

If it can often seem difficult to equip an existing building with intelligent lighting solutions because it often requires new switches or remote controls, this is not the case with Homematic IP.

Indeed, thanks to switching modules Homematic IP for brand switches, existing switch series can easily become part of the connected home and be directly managed from the Homematic IP app. The device's compact design simplifies installation in a standard flush-mounted box. Without changing the aesthetics of the switch – with the corresponding adapter, existing frames and rockers are simply placed on top and continue to be used – the modules allow them to be integrated into the Homematic IP smart home system. It is thus possible, for example, to set up automatic lighting control through time profiles or to connect them to motion and presence detectors.

Both for theshooting as for thevideo shooting, motion detectors help increase home security and save energy. When motion is detected, they turn on the light or, if programmed, trigger an alarm. In this sense, they allow the inhabitants to have visibility outside the house when they return home or to avoid domestic accidents.
