About Bat infosource: Fischer via Primavera
Mobilizing its teams to design innovative and responsible products, by promoting sustainable materials and limiting their impact on the environment and the health of users, is one of the fundamental principles of fischer's CSR strategy. The Greenline range, based on renewable raw materials, and the FIS V Zero resin, formulated without harmful substances, are perfect examples.
In addition to developing more virtuous anchoring solutions, fischer continues its initiatives in favor of the environment by participating in the reforestation of French forests through its partnership with EcoTree.
All of its investments in sustainable development have enabled the fischer group to join the ambitious network of German companies committed to climate protection: Klimaschutz-Unternehmen.
Responsible fastening solutions
From the choice of raw materials to the end of product life, fischer pays particular attention to the life cycle of its fastening solutions to make them more responsible. It strives to develop ever more efficient and innovative products to minimize the impact on the environment.
fischer Greenline: The first fastener range based on renewable raw materials
For the design of its products, fischer looks for solutions that can make use of sustainable materials. With its Greenline range, fischer was the first manufacturer in the world to offer a range of fasteners made from 50 to 80% renewable raw materials.
Of German quality, the universal plugs UX Green, expansion SX Green, for plasterboard GK Green, to knock N Green, for insulating materials FID Green and for cellular concrete GB Green allow many applications to be made in multiple materials.
More environmentally friendly, these dowels are made with more 50% plant-based raw materials. Castor oil is, in fact, used as a base material for polyamide.
The anchors in the Greenline range have been tested and inspected by the TÜV Rheinland DIN CERTCO center and belong to the “50-85% biosourced” category.
In addition, they offer the same performance, the same safety, the same resistance and load capacity as similar traditional fischer products.
Finally, like many fischer bindings, they are packaged in cardboard boxes which now contain up to 98% recycled material.
FIS V Zero: 1st resin free of harmful substances
As a pioneer in the field of responsible fastening solutions, fischer has developed the first resin without harmful substances: FIS V Zero. Innovative, this resin is benzoyl peroxide free, a substance commonly used in chemical sealants and classified as allergenic, irritating to the eyes and dangerous for the environment. fischer has replaced this compound with more environmentally friendly substances and a new patented hardening process.
Thanks to this A+ rated formulation, the FIS V Zero meets the highest requirements for maintaining good indoor air quality with low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions as confirmed by the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certificate.
It is suitable for all common chemical fixing applications in construction and DIY and is approved for all building materials. With an R120 fire resistance, it has ETA for cracked and non-cracked concrete, hollow and solid masonry and reinforcement of reinforcing bars.
Practical, the used cartridges of the FIS V Zero can be thrown away with the usual household waste. And, since no harmful substances enter into its composition, it is the only resin to be exempt from hazard pictograms on the label and from a safety data sheet, so it is not considered a hazardous material.
A new campaign to support the reforestation of forests in Gironde
When launching the FIS V Zero resin, fischer wanted to emphasize its commitment to the environment and sustainable development.
The company had partnered with EcoTree, a player that works to preserve and enhance French forests and protect biodiversity.
In 2023, fischer is once again committed alongside EcoTree to support their virtuous initiatives and participate in the reforestation of French forests.
So in April, users who buy the FIS V Zero resin will contribute to the reforestation of the plots burnt down last summer in Gironde. 1,5 hectares will be reforested at the end of the campaign.
fischer, new member of the Klimaschutz-Unternehmen business network for its environmental approach
Klimaschutz-Unternehmen is a network of German companies that are actively committed to climate protection, energy efficiency and resource management. Based on the proposal of the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs (BMWi) and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), this association brings together more than 50 companies from different sectors and pioneers in the field.

To be an inspiring actor, fischer constantly seeks to improve the management of its resources, to innovate in order to offer sustainable products, to limit the impact of its products on the environment, to improve energy efficiency and the reduction of emissions. (CO2, noise, pollutants) of its production facilities, etc.
The initiatives, the numerous investments and the proactive approach in favor of environmental protection carried out by fischer have been scrupulously examined by the experts of the Klimaschutz-Unternehmen association.
After a demanding procedure carried out in several stages, they approved his admission to the association.
By integrating this ambitious network of companies, fischer is ready to take up the challenge of further contributing to minimizing the impact of its activities on the climate. Through a process of continuous improvement, the company strives to constantly optimize the supply, production and use of its products.
