The Construction Industry Observatory published three studies during the year 2025:

The Construction Industry Observatory Day: the meeting place for employment and training professionals in the construction sector

Held every two years, the Construction Industry Observatory Day brought together 270 participants for its latest edition on November 25, 2025. The program included three roundtables dedicated to career changes into construction industry jobs, the use of AI by construction companies, and the evolving roles of site and workshop management. This hybrid event provided an opportunity for construction industry leaders and employees, training organizations, and experts to share their perspectives and better understand the challenges of today and tomorrow.

On this occasion, the Observatory produced, for the first time, 9 videos of professionals who share their experiences of their jobs or activities in order to enrich the discussions:

• Two companies open their doors to share their uses of AI with us;
• Three professionals share their experiences of career change towards a job in the construction industry;
• 4 site supervisors tell us about their job (videos can be found on each of the "studies" pages of the Observatory's website).

The new database of construction industry certifications: a tool at everyone's service

Created jointly with the CCCA-BTP, the Construction Trades Observatory provides its users with a search engine for construction industry certifications. It includes certifications registered with the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP), the Specific Directory (RS), and Professional Qualification Certificates (CQP) in the Building and Public Works sectors. The database is updated monthly and contains nearly 750 certifications.
