19 professional construction organizations call on parliamentarians to maintain the budget for MaPrimeRénov'

At a time when the sector is fighting every day to revive its activity, the preservation of existing systems, including MaPrimeRenov, is fundamental. We must give unambiguous signals to the market, signals that can only be translated by maintaining the State's financial commitment.

This commitment will generate ecological benefits and tax revenues for the State thanks to the economic activity it will enable to decarbonize housing. It is also an undeniable way to improve household comfort and also to preserve their purchasing power.

On Tuesday, January 21, the Senate heard this call from the sector and rejected a government amendment reducing the funds allocated to this system.

Today, 19 presidents of professional federations and confederations are mobilizing and alerting the deputies and senators called upon to decide this Thursday, January 30, whether the budget allowing support for energy renovations of housing will be preserved.

Arbitrating today in favour of withdrawing more than half a billion euros for the economic recovery of a sector in difficulty and the achievement of environmental objectives would be a social, economic, ecological and budgetary error.
