With a strong slogan, Avoid building disorders, learn from pictures!, the sixteen previous editions bear witness to the usefulness of these images in the service of building quality. They echo the prevention mission which is at the heart of AQC's actions. The student category finds its full meaning here: many teaching managers have understood its interest for their students by integrating it into their programs.
Thus, more than 4 photographs have been sent to the AQC since the launch of the competition in 000.
To participate, nothing could be simpler thanks to the dedicated digital platform. It only takes a few minutes to send your file.
Observe ...
The focus must be on disorders in the building in the broad sense: whether for collective or individual use, industrial or tertiary.
Through the image, the AQC raises awareness on a daily basis about the importance of respecting good construction practices. And what could be more educational and easily understandable than an image? From the current pathology to the exceptional disaster, disorders take all kinds of forms.
Photograph ...
Like every year, the jury will reward the best photographs on the basis of precise selection criteria. If the disorder must be clearly identified visually, the detailed technical explanation of the defect in the construction or use of the building must support the photograph submitted to the jury.
The only constraints imposed on the participants consist in photographing a building in operation (no building left abandoned), and located on the national metropolitan or overseas territory.
Photos retrieved from the Internet or resulting from montages will be excluded from the jury's examination.
And share!
Launched on December 15, 2021, the 17th edition of the AQC 2022 Photo Contest will close on March 31, 2022.
A digital platform, dedicated to the competition, allows candidates to register very quickly from a computer, smartphone or tablet.
The participation forms must be completed online, attaching the high-resolution digital file (s) of the photos, as well as a detailed text explaining the cause (s) of the disorder and the location shooting. Contest rules and operating authorization must also be completed and accepted online.
The platform is accessible until midnight March 31, 2022.
Participants compete in one of the following 2 categories:
- General Category: construction professionals or individuals;
- Student category: students, high school students, apprentices.
Each candidate is free to send one or more images, the number of photos is not limited.
