10 years of expertise: Griffon Education reaches a milestone and unveils its ambitions for the future

Griffon, a Bolton Group brand specializing in bonding, welding, and sealing systems for the building industry, has been offering high-quality products exclusively for professionals for over 50 years. In 2026, Griffon Education celebrates its 10th anniversary! This training program, dedicated to passing on technical expertise, guarantees the quality of product installation and, consequently, the reliability and longevity of the systems.

In the construction industry, every detail counts. Poorly executed bonding, an imperfect joint, or inadequate sealing can compromise the integrity of a structure. Conversely, expert application ensures long-lasting performance, sometimes for decades. Through its Griffon Education program, the brand imparts essential techniques, best practices, and indispensable technical skills to all levels of experience: from young trainees and seasoned tradespeople to professionals retraining for new careers and even sales teams in the professional distribution sector.

The requirement for implementation

In the building trades, the performance of technical solutions is only possible through the quality of their implementation. Aware of this challenge, Griffon developed Griffon Education to support apprentices and professionals in learning precise techniques that comply with best practices.

The program covers a wide range of applications, from bonding and liquid waterproofing for roofs and under tiles, to threaded fitting management and pressure systems. It thus enables the transmission of technical expertise, addresses practical problems encountered on construction sites, and ensures the long-term reliability of installations.

From a local initiative to a structured national network

From its inception, Griffon Education has built itself in close collaboration with training centers and professional distributors, based on a sharing approach rooted in real-world experience. This is evidenced by its very first partnership with the CFA (Apprenticeship Training Center) of La Roche-sur-Yon, whose objective was already to help future professionals make the right product choices based on site constraints.

Ten years later, the program has become a structured, nationwide training network supported by 8 trainers and collaborating with over 45 partner technical high schools in France. Since its inception, more than 3,000 professionals have been trained in the implementation techniques of Griffon solutions.

Training to guarantee the durability of the structures

The quality of the assemblies is a determining factor in the durability of the installations. Certain areas, such as pressurized networks or swimming pool installations, require particularly rigorous mastery of bonding and sealing techniques.

Thanks to dedicated training modules, Griffon Education enables professionals to master specific assembly techniques by trade capable of guaranteeing reliable and durable connections, designed to last for more than 50 years.

The integration of new educational tools, particularly digital ones, to facilitate learning and skills monitoring, deployment in new European markets and the enrichment of technical content will make it possible to respond to developments in the sector and to sustainability requirements.
