Ecovadis Gold Medal for the Siniat and Promat brands

Etex France Building Performance rewarded for its CSR commitment

The score obtained places Etex France BP in the top 5% of the best performing companies in terms of CSR in its sector of activity.

Etex France BP is currently the only plasterboard manufacturer in France to have been awarded the Gold Medal. This is a fine illustration of its leadership in CSR policies, actions, and results.

This score, derived from a methodology based on international CSR standards, attests to the positive approach of Etex France BP – through its flagship brands Siniat and Promat – and all its teams, towards increasingly sustainable and responsible practices.

Siniat, a proactive, committed and responsible policy

A responsible and sustainable leader in dry construction, Siniat pursues a proactive policy based on 4 pillars: less CO₂ (reduce and control emissions), less water (reduce and diversify water supplies), more recycled (increase the use of recycled material) and more eco-design.

For over 10 years, Siniat has been leading numerous initiatives to promote more sustainable construction. Recently, the brand has been recognized for:

• the preservation of biodiversity in its Mazan quarry.
• the development of Recyplac®, the first plasterboard in France made from 100% recycled gypsum.
• the launch of PrégyTwin® Up, a 25% lighter plasterboard, to improve working conditions on site.
• the modernization of facilities at its Mériel site to reduce its carbon footprint and improve its energy performance.
• the reuse of recycled water from the treatment plant near the Saint Loubès site, an approach rewarded by the CSR factory of the year trophy in 2024.
