The Real Estate Diagnostics Alliance appoints Philippe Champiot as co-president alongside Lionel Janot

A certified diagnostician in all fields since 2007, Philippe Champiot is part of the first generation of certified professionals. A business owner based in Nîmes, he has been managing DUAL Expertises, a company specializing in real estate diagnostics, for nearly 20 years and currently employs six people.

Drawing on his field experience, he is directly confronted with the operational realities of the profession and the challenges faced by diagnosticians, particularly independent ones and small structures.

To amplify the voice of the grassroots and strengthen the collective dynamic

By accepting this role, Philippe Champiot wishes to actively contribute to the development of the Alliance and continue the work undertaken in recent years.

For Philippe Champiot: “I accepted the role of co-president in order to revitalize the union and continue the work undertaken by Yannick Ainouche and Lionel Janot. As a field diagnostician, I am confronted daily with the difficulties faced by our members. It is essential that the voices of independent professionals and small businesses are heard and defended with public authorities.”

Long involved in professional bodies, Philippe Champiot has also been a member of the board of directors of FNAIM Gard Lozère for more than 10 years and is involved in several local networks.

A strengthened and structured governance

The establishment of this co-presidency is part of a broader dynamic of structuring the Alliance, which today represents more than 1.050 certified diagnosticians across France.

In line with this, the Alliance recently established four permanent committees to strengthen its action and its capacity to respond to the challenges facing the sector:

• a technical and regulatory committee, responsible for monitoring regulatory developments and legal issues,
• a training committee, dedicated to developing the skills of diagnostic technicians
• an insurance commission, aimed at improving coverage and guarantees in the sector,
• a communications committee, responsible for structuring the profession's public statements and visibility.

These committees help to ground the Alliance's actions in concrete issues and to provide operational responses to the expectations of professionals.

Defending and developing the profession

Through this new governance, the Real Estate Diagnostic Alliance intends to pursue its priorities: uniting all players in the sector, defending the central role of the real estate diagnostician and supporting market developments.

Philippe Champiot will pay particular attention to the challenges on the ground, the fight against illegal practices that weaken the profession and the need to strengthen the recognition of the profession.

To improve efficiency and better reflect the diversity of the sector, the Board of Directors has established a co-presidency led by Lionel Janot and Philippe Champiot, both of whom have been involved with the Alliance since its inception. They are supported by four vice-presidents—Bastien Hulin, Caroline Oskanian, Cathy Segal Peraldi, and Samir Zanoun—as well as a treasurer, Pierre-Yves Avy.
