Kadans Science Partner announces the first three occupants who will join The Hive in late 2025

The Grand Parc Campus, a district dedicated to innovation in oncology and located around the new L14 and 15 Villejuif – Gustave Roussy metro station, is coming to fruition. By the end of 2025, the first phase of construction will be completed with the delivery of THE HIVE, a 25.000 m² building of laboratories and offices developed by Kadans Science Partner, a leading European investor and operator dedicated to life sciences.

Less than a year before the building opens, Kadans Science Partner announces the first three tenants:

The Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC), the first cancer cluster in France, founded by Gustave Roussy, Sanofi, Inserm, Paris-Saclay University and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris to accelerate innovations in oncology, was selected by the French government as part of the France 2030 Plan.

For Eric Vivier, president of the PSCC: "Campus Grand Parc is the beating heart of the PSCC. We established our team there in January 2025 and are delighted to join THE HIVE at the end of the year. A true totem building of the biocluster, this space will foster interactions and collaborations within the community, thus stimulating innovation against cancer."

Sanofi, a founding member of the PSCC, will install a dedicated team on the third floor of the building.

For Jacques Volckmann, Director of R&D at Sanofi: "Sanofi is excited and looks forward to joining THE HIVE, at the heart of a thriving and innovative environment and ecosystem, which will allow us to strengthen our translational research activities. As one of the founding members of the PSCC, it was essential that our R&D teams move closer to the Biocluster's center of gravity to strengthen our interactions and, ultimately, multiply our collaborations."

Finally, Orakl Oncology, a promising start-up from Gustave Roussy that combines real patient and biological data to create "avatars" that simulate the response to drugs to treat digestive cancers, and which has just raised 11 million euros in seed funding, will set up its teams within THE HIVE where it will be able to benefit from the facilities necessary for its development.

These three first occupants are highly complementary and reflect the community coming together within Campus Grand Parc, a unique project with global reach that will showcase the quality of French research and accelerate the development of new therapies and diagnostics to treat cancers.
